Project invoicing software for client work

Create, preview, update, duplicate, and track client invoices with line items, tax details, payment information, and clear statuses.

What this feature brings together

Lyniti Invoices keeps invoice records inside same workspace as clients and finance work. Teams can prepare structured invoice details, review totals before saving, and maintain invoice status without claiming email delivery or payment collection.

Best for

  • Small teams preparing invoices from existing client records or manual client details.
  • Invoices that need itemized quantities, prices, tax rates, VAT details, and payment information.
  • Finance workflows that need draft, sent, paid, overdue, and cancelled status tracking.

Create invoices with client and project context

Invoice records can use an existing client or manually entered client details. An optional project connection keeps the commercial record closer to the work that created it without claiming automatic invoice generation from completed tasks.

Business identity, client contacts, billing addresses, VAT IDs, and purchase order references stay in the invoice record for later review.

Calculate line items, tax, and reverse charge

Line items include a description, quantity, unit price, and tax rate. Lyniti calculates subtotal, tax amount, and final total from those values. Reverse charge can set invoice tax to zero when the user determines that treatment applies.

Store dates and payment information

Issue date, due date, currency, payment method, IBAN, payment reference, payment message, terms, late-fee text, and notes can be stored with the invoice. These fields make the record complete without claiming that Lyniti sends the invoice or processes payment.

Preview, duplicate, and track invoice status

Teams can preview invoice details before saving, duplicate an existing record, and track draft, sent, paid, overdue, or cancelled status. Status remains an operational record and does not imply automated payment verification.
